- The menus fit on a laptop screen again. The View menu had grown to thirty-eight items at its top level and the File menu to thirty-three — taller than a 13-inch screen once the display is set to anything but the smallest text, so the bottom of the menu was simply out of reach. Nothing has been removed and no shortcut has changed: the commands that belong together are now in submenus (Outline and Show in View, Import and Files on This Mac in File, Rows and Links in Edit), which takes View from thirty-eight items to twenty-one. - Kagi works with a key bought today. MojoPad asked Kagi’s Enrichment index, which is only reachable by their older keys — and a key created now cannot be given access to it at all: Kagi’s own key screen offers Search and Extraction, and Enrichment is not on the list. So a subscriber who set this up correctly got nothing, four times per lookup, with no way to tell why. MojoPad now asks whichever of the two your key can actually reach. - When a search provider refuses, it now says what the provider said. The log recorded “key refused, rate limited, or offline”, which is three guesses and no answer. Kagi replies with a real explanation, and that is what gets written down now.
- Clipping a page a site will not hand over says so. “Check the URL and your connection” was the wrong advice for a news site refusing anything that is not a browser, or a page behind a subscription — the address and the connection are the two things that are fine. It now says what happened and points at the two ways round it: the browser extension, or selecting the part you want first.
- The thick cursor follows a card across the canvas. Type in a card, drag it, and the cursor stayed behind at the spot the card used to be. It also now keeps up when the board is panned or zoomed, and when a card is resized.
