Working on an event page
- An event page can be tried without waiting for the event. The Scripts palette lists every Event: page in the document, each with a Test button that runs it immediately with stand-in details. Until now the only way to try one was to copy it into a plugin — and a plugin is the one place
mojo.eventis not set, so the copy could not run the thing it was made to test. - A run from an event page is kept, like every other run. It appears in Recent runs with what it printed and the line a failure came from. The palette had always said event runs landed there; they did not.
- And when an event page does not run at all, the reason is kept. A page that arrived from elsewhere, a page with a password, scripts turned off for the document — each says so, once, rather than doing nothing. A name that matches nothing stays quiet on purpose: most documents have no page for most events. If nothing appears at all, the Event pages list is how you check the name, because a page missing from it is one no event will ever find.
