Three fixes from three readers. Small things that were quietly in the way — a layout that forgot itself, a cursor in the wrong place, and voices that were there all along.
- Side by Side stays put, and ⌥⌘O moves between the two. Two pages open as two editable columns now come back after you quit and reopen — the arrangement is remembered along with your tabs. And Focus Other Pane (⌥⌘O) finally works there: it only ever understood the read-only split pane, so in Side by Side it saw nothing to move to and offered to open a split instead. It now hops the caret between the two columns. The command was also called “Focus Split Pane / Editor”, which said it didn’t apply here — it’s now simply Focus Other Pane, because it applies to both. - The thick cursor stays in the page. With a bold cursor set (Settings ▸ Editing), scrolling the cursor up out of view left a stray bar drawn over the toolbar at the top-left of the window. It now disappears when the cursor leaves the page, and returns in place when you scroll back. (Different from the graph-view stray fixed in 1.43.0 — this one needed only a scroll.)
- Read Aloud voices say what language they speak. Your Mac ships voices in many languages — Japanese, French, Chinese and more — and MojoPad always offered them. But the picker trimmed each name down, and that trimmed part was the only thing telling the languages apart: macOS has an Eddy, a Flo, a Reed and a Sandy in several languages, so the list read as a wall of duplicates with nothing marking any of them. Every voice now names its language, so reading a Japanese page aloud in Japanese takes one glance. (From a reader who writes in Japanese and thought we had no Japanese voices — thank you.)
